Basic Dog Obedience Training, 6 Sessions,

Starting October 13, 2011

Dogs need to be on a flat or martingale collar with a 6’ leash.

Areas covered during these classes will be perfecting the sit, sit and stay, down, recall and walking nicely on a loose leash. Carol utilizes positive reinforcement training methods that create and maintain a happy and joyful trust bond between you and your dog.

Canine Companion Mindfulness Meditation

Presented by Sangavasini, owner of Paws 4 Bliss

When: Saturday October 29^th 5pm – 9pm

This meditation session with your canine companion is designed to introduce you to new and exciting ways to connect with your dog through meditation. Gain a deeper understanding of yourself, your dog and all life, thus creating new ways to live a happy, stress-free life.

Practice how you can move from reactive behaviour to conscious behaviour and learn how this leads to self-empowerment and a change in behaviour in your dog.

Canine Reiki, Level I Workshop
Presented by Sangavasini, owner of Paws 4 Bliss

When: Sunday, October 30^th 9am – 5pm

Investment: $125

This workshop offers you the opportunity to the ancient art of Usui Reiki. The Chakras and energy fields of your canine companion will be discussed and explored as part of this fun, hands-on workshop.

May 21, Spring Dog Jog-a-thon Fundriaser & Silent Auction
We raised $1,700 for Dogs with Wings Assistance Dog Society

We will be running this event from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and you can take part anytime during the day. Buy a $25 ticket for your dog to participate by walking or jogging on a specially designed dog treadmill (no previous experience needed). 90% of ticket cost goes to Dogs With Wings Assistance Dog Society. Our Silent Aution will be full of great things to bid on to increase our fundriasing postential. Stay and play after the dog treadmill time, refreshments served too

Dog Jog-a-thon Fundraiser
Saturday, September 18th
8 a.m. - 8 p.m.
90% of ticket sales plus Silent Auction funds will be donated to
VETS WITHOUT BORDERS--for a project in Chile, South America, to neuter and spay the large numbers of stray dogs and reduce the numbers of puppies being euthanized.

We had a fantastic day,42 dogs took part in the Jog-a-thon and the silent auction had a great selection of baskets and goodies to bid on. A cheque will go to Vets Without Borders for $1,800. THANK YOU to all who helped in so many different ways to help this happen.

KID'S CAMP! AUGUST 3, 4, 5 & 6 - 9 am - Noon

Available for ages 6 - 12

Each day we will build their confidence and knowledge about our K9 Companions.

"Must Love Dogs" K9 Jogathon--Fundraiser for Edmonton Humane Society. Tickets to participate are $30.00 each for 30 minutes. ($20 dollars of proceeds go the the Humane Society.)
When? Sunday April 11, 8 am - 8 pm. We will have at least one K9 treadmill running for 12 hours straight! No prior experience necessary, any new dogs participating will be carefully looked after during their participation.
