Boarding
Exclusive Dog Boarding for K9 Awareness Clients – $35/Day
We’re happy to offer boarding exclusively for our daycare and training clients at a trusted, peaceful location—Ferne’s Acres, a beautiful farm and animal sanctuary just 40 minutes outside of St. Albert.
Your dog will enjoy a safe, relaxed environment with plenty of space to play, rest, and feel at home.
How it works:
🐾 Weekdays: Drop your dog off at K9 Awareness, and they’ll head to the farm with Terra at the end of the day.
🐾 Weekends & Holidays: As the daycare is closed, dogs must be picked up and dropped off directly at Ferne’s Acres.
Boarding Rate: $35 per day
Please note: Boarding is only available to current daycare and training clients.

Day Training Sessions ($55)
We offer Day training Monday to Thursday! Day Training sessions are a blend of fun and learning, tailored to suit each dogs personality and needs. Drop your dog off on your way to work and our experienced trainers will work with your dog on obedience, recall, reactivity, basic manners, specialized skills, and overall socialization. Whether its mastering basic commands or refining advanced tricks, our day training program fosters confidence and cultivates a strong bond between dogs and their humans.
Classes and Events
K9 Awareness offers a variety of Dog Training classes for puppies and adult dogs. Class choice has expanded with our move in 2017 to a larger facility. All the trainers who teach here use positive reinforcement methods. Click here to go to our training page.

DOG Walking Services
We are very excited to announce K9 AWARENESS DOG WALKING!
We are bringing our years of excellent service and dog care to the streets! After a meet and greet between your dog and our staff to provide an in depth walk through and answer any questions, we can safely begin providing this highly requested service. Walking with us supports an animal rescue!

Puppy Play
Every Monday is puppy Day. Get your pup the socializing it needs with our Monday play program. Puppies get their own section with dedicated staff to help guide them through dog body language and calling out of play. We provide breaks so they are not overstimulated, and an environment they can grow and safely learn how to interact with their canine counter parts. Bring your puppy with a lunch! ($42 + GST)
